Davida's Kitchen & Tiles is located in the heart of Olde Towne Gaithersburg, MD. Designed, owned and operated by Davida Rodriguez, DK&T is a brand new 3200 square foot designer showroom with ceramic and stone tile from all over the world. Opened April 2007, it also boasts two installed kitchens, both contemporary and traditional, displaying fine custom cabinetry from Woodmode.
Davida Rodriguez, CKD
Owner/Designer
Davida has over 20 years experience designing and selling tile and custom baths and kitchens for both residential and commercial clients. A native of the Washington DC area, and an Interior Design graduate from the University of Maryland, she spent 10 years in the designer kitchen industry providing custom cabinetry before adding an additional 10 years of stone, ceramic and other custom tile work to her repertoire.
In 1995, Davida received the title of CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) and in 2006 created Davida's Kitchen & Tiles. The new showroom followed shortly thereafter where she continues to offer personalized designs to her clients for nearly every situation, no matter how unique the area!
Shawn Johnston-Warehouse Manager/Administrative Assistant/Sales
Shawn has been involved in the tile industry beginning in his teen years, beginning with installation and design implementation. Shaw has a great way with clients and is wonderful at putting together color schemes for bathrooms. His experience with installation is invaluable. Shawn processes tile and stone orders, maintains the showroom, assembles customer orders in the warehouse, and delivers to our clients, as well. He is well on his way to an Associates Degree in Construction Management.
Denise Reaver
Administrative Assistant
Denise comes with eight years experience in residential remodeling for a general contractor. Managing large, high-end custom projects such as kitchen additions, 2-story additions including in-law suites and master bedroom suites. She processes cabinet and tile orders, performs general bookkeeping duties, assists in project management, and marketing implementation. She has a bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland, College Park.
